The Snail's Dream.

Minuscule - Le rêve de l'escargot

Removed by Blogger Control, without explanation.
Presumably someone objected on copyright grounds?
But nobody told me.
Futurikon's films are out there. On the web.
In the public domain. I'd see my post here as a free advertisement for them, I presume somebody feels that in some unknown way this is depriving them of revenue?
I doubt it does, or did.
But I leave you with this thought.
You can watch their animations because they themselves put them on the web.
And I found dozens of sites, including their own.

Even Snails Have Dreams.

Thomas Szabo and Hélène Giraud are the originators of this animation. It's part of a series, by Futurikon
Previously posted on Grit in the Gears.. Was this one, The Ladybird. No they killed that one too.
I'll post another.... soon. No I probably won't.

Funnily enough it's still available on the site where I found it.

  1. Oh, that's brilliant - I really felt for the little fella! :-D

Did these people do an animation about a fly defeating a spider? I saw one similar (that also made me laugh) on another site, and I can't, for the life of me, remember where it was!

  4. I've just linked this post with the earlier one you saw, on here, on the 27th december 06
A ladybird taunting a spider, and a gang of flies. I tried to put a link here in the comments but failed dismally twice.
So if you go back, you'll find a link to the earlier video, or minuscule tag will bring up all the vids I post from these guys.

  7. Oh well.
Despite the fact that this was already free-floating on the web
it's been removed by persons unknown with no explanation offered.
So my free advertising of their talents was not appreciated by someone.
So I'll take out the links to their site too.

  9. Aw, that's a shame... you would think, considering you gave them credit, that they would appreciate having a wider audience!

Why have they got it on the web then, especially when they make it publically available. If I don't want one of my videos viewed, I simply click the 'private' button...
