I am the grit in the gears, the missing bolt, I am the poker of sticks into spokes. I like to know how things work, but sometimes when I take them apart and rebuild them, I have a few pieces left over. I am a man, so I tend to leave reading the instructions until after it goes wrong. And like all men I have a comprehensive mental map of the world and never need to ask directions. I never get lost, only sometimes I'm late, or end up in the wrong place entirely. It's what we do.
Hahahahaaa!!

DeleteBuying duct tape in bulk can be quite cost-effective.
ReplyDeleteJerry, perhaps I should reveal that I bought a carton of 24 50-yard rolls last friday. That was because I was down to only four full rolls and about six part-used rolls. By no small coincidence, I also bought a carton of WD-40.
DeleteIt is my fervent hope, however, that I shall be leaving all these behind to be used by whoever my employers get to replace me, soon.
Well, as much as I hate to admit it, I must say that you do appear to be a very good man. I mean, come on, buying duct tape AND WD-40 by the case is plumb inspirational!
DeleteI think your employers may require a team of four to replace you when you move to the sunshine.
