I am the grit in the gears, the missing bolt, I am the poker of sticks into spokes. I like to know how things work, but sometimes when I take them apart and rebuild them, I have a few pieces left over. I am a man, so I tend to leave reading the instructions until after it goes wrong. And like all men I have a comprehensive mental map of the world and never need to ask directions. I never get lost, only sometimes I'm late, or end up in the wrong place entirely. It's what we do.

"Hmm," he said, "That's a big gubbins".
The pic's a few weeks old.
I don't think I'd like to pay for a new set of tyres for the truck...
I was stuck behind its leviathan bulk for a couple of miles, to the point where the escort vehicles, blocking a junction for him suddenly realised that the bridge works ahead left too small a hole to fit that thing through, men in yellow coats on the scaffolding staring at the approaching monster in horror, monster driver thinking "Oh F***!", Maybe they had to reverse it back to the next junction, you'd have thought maybe the support crew would have scouted the route first, given that the load was so much wider than most..,
And no, I don't know what it is. There's a big bottling/canning plant up there though.
