"A Matter of Loaf and Death"
Wallace And Gromit are busy with a new project.... Aardman Animations is making a 30 minute story for BBC1's Christmas programming.
All I am able to reveal here stems from my industrial espionage skills....
(reading The Grauniad, and visiting Aardman's website).
My favourite, absolutely favourite actor ever, has to be Gromit.
All I am able to reveal here stems from my industrial espionage skills....
(reading The Grauniad, and visiting Aardman's website).
My favourite, absolutely favourite actor ever, has to be Gromit.
And of course, his trusty sidekick, Wallace.
Their house, at 62 West Wallaby street has been converted into a bakery... Monster robotic kneading arms, flour dust, a windmill on the roof, a forklift with hands in oven-gloves... But danger stalks the streets.. bakers are disappearing... a cereal killer is on the loose... Wallace is too in love to notice, but trusty Gromit is the detective on the case..............
YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! you'd better 'steal' for me and package it over !!!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!

Have You seen This?
ReplyDeleteKatie at Aardman:- Thank you for your kind words and guide to extra website goodness. I confess, I wouldn't have been surprised by stern words and a cease and desist notice for reproducing pictures and leaking a few plot snippets. I am, I have to say, a firm Wallace and Gromit fan, and have been ever since "A Grand Day Out".
ReplyDeleteI like the characters, but even more, I like the tremendous care that is taken throughout the production, whether it be in fleeting background effects or major themes, Aardman Animations excel. I love the way the films incorporate hints and homages to great movies of the past, the dialogue....
And now the website.
The whole team does a great job, I can't wait to see the forthcoming film.
And let's not forget Wallace and Gromit's protege, Shaun The Sheep... When's series three coming out?
Thanks again, I'll keep an eye on the website.
Tony! That made me laugh.... In fact... maybe it's close to truth, there's no doubt about it, look at Wallace and Gromit's past... They're already action heroes, maybe a Bond movie might be in their future?
ReplyDeleteiT WAS THE LINE 'cHEESE, gROMMIT, cHEESE!!!" TYHAT HOOKED ME....(OOPS)
ReplyDeleteActually, it was the Scene with the sheep and the biplane that had me going...I laughed so hard for so long that I had to watch it three times to get through to the end!
I think I am excited, yes, I am definitely showing signs of excitement.
ReplyDeleteCheese, Bulletholes, More cheese!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, And crackers too...
Minsk, you are a little unsure, um.. these signs of excitement? How do they manifest themselves?
